Quality and Safety

Not a manual, but a mentality.

Foundation

Quality is always mentioned in the same breath as safety. Together they form the foundation of our company and the systems we develop.

Quality

Quality to us means the mentality that makes sure that everything we do is done according to the strict quality requirements that we - together with our clients - set for each project.

These requirements are firstly functional: do our systems and their components possess the properties and characteristics that were determined in advance? We record these requirements carefully and monitor them very closely. But these requirements are sometimes far less tangible. After all, the important thing is not only to meet expectations, but also to exceed them.

Security

Safety to us means the mentality that ensures that everything we do is done according to the strict safety requirements that we - together with our clients - set for each project.

On the one hand, it's about the safety of our employees, suppliers and customers; the machines we work with must be safe above all else. The other concerns food safety, an absolute requirement in the food processing industry.

Certification and qualifications

In addition to our mentality, we have all the necessary certificates and qualifications in the field of quality and safety. Moreover, we have two dedicated employees who oversee this.

HDN
The Hygienic Design Network (HDN) gives the market clarity and uniformity within the labyrinth of laws, standards and guidelines concerning the design and construction of machinery and process installations in the food industry. Companies that work according to the HDN methodology comply with all legislation and regulations on safety and hygiene. RVS NON FERRO provides HDN certifications.

DMFI/NBT
The former Dutch Machinery for the Food Industry (DMFI) laid the foundations for the HDN methodology. The DFMI has now merged with the NBT (Nederlandse Bakkerij Techniek or Dutch Bakery Technology). Together we unite the machine and plant builders in the food processing industry and look after their interests. Our director, Egbèr Smits, is chairman of DMFI/NBT.

EHEDG
The European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG) was established as a non-profit organization for companies, research institutes, universities, public health authorities and government bodies active in the food industry. We pursue the best possible food safety by improving hygienic engineering and hygienic design in all aspects of food production.

NEVAT
The Network of Ambitious Suppliers (NEVAT) is the sector association for leading suppliers in the Dutch manufacturing industry and high-tech industry. Our main goals are knowledge exchange and representing the interests of members. NEVAT members are among the frontrunners of the European supply network.
